How Cynoff EC Insecticide Works

Cynoff EC Insecticide contains 24 percent cypermethrin, a higher dosage than similar insecticides on the market. It's a synthetic pyrethroid, which mimics the same effects of naturally occurring pyrethrums in the wild. In nature, chrysanthemum flowers produce this substance to repel plant-eating insects. In the lab, this synthetic chemical works on contact and paralyzes the insects, killing them after a short time.

Because it comes in liquid form, Cynoff EC Insecticide works more quickly than similar granular insecticides. The cypermethrin is more stable than natural pyrethrum and continues to work for a long time after it's applied to the target surfaces. It works as a contact and a residual pesticide and kills numerous insects such as ants, roaches and wasps.

Where to Use Cynoff EC Insecticide

Use Cynoff EC Insecticide indoors and outdoors in residential, commercial, recreational and industrial areas. It's safe to use in and around hospitals, restaurants and hotels, including residences such as nursing homes and apartments. Apply it along baseboards, in cracks on sidewalks and inside voids along foundations to target insects where they live and breed. Some other common areas for use include:
