Usually Ships in 1-2 days
Termites and ants, especially the carpenter species, pose a threat to buildings and other wooden structures. They damage the wood and cause billions of dollars in repair costs each year. Alpine ant and termite foam is a ready-to-use insecticide to treat these wood-damaging insects. It's part of the new line of reduce risk non-repellent product, so the pests won't detect it in the vicinity. Ingesting the active ingredient will start to kill the target pests in just a few hours.

How Alpine Ant and Termite Foam Works

Alpine ant and termite foam contains the active ingredient dinotefuran. It's used in many different pest control products for effectively killing pests such as ants. This ingredient slowly affects the central nervous system, giving the pest enough time to carry the toxin back to the colony where it will infect other members. The Environmental Protection Agency gives dinotefuran a reduced-risk status, so it's safer to use around people and pets.

Where to Use Alpine Ant and Termite Foam

Use Alpine ant and termite foam inside homes and other buildings to combat ants and other pest species. It can also be used outdoors as a crack-and-crevice treatment, including a void treatment to kill insects that have nested deep within structures. Although it has a reduced-risk status, it should never be sprayed in areas where food is handled or processed. Some common target areas include:

  • Apartment buildings
  • Hospitals
  • Restaurants
  • Schools
  • Warehouses

Target Pests

Alpine ready-to-use foam kills more than ants and termites; it also targets other common invasive pests:

  • Asian lady beetles
  • Boxelder bugs
  • Cluster flies
  • Elm leaf beetles
  • Termites (including Subterranean and Drywood)
  • Ants (including Argentine, foraging Carpenter, Ghost, Pharoah, and White foot) Excluding Fire and Harvester Ants

It also kills wood-destroying insects such as powderpost beetles and old house borers. The foam is very effective at eliminating carpenter ant infestations as well as other ant species such as ghost, white-footed and Argentine ants.
