How PT Wasp-Freeze II Insecticide Works

PT Wasp-Free II insecticide contains the active ingredient prallethrin, one of the many synthetic pyrethroids on the market today. What makes this pyrethroid so special is its effectiveness for killing on contact and providing a lasting residual. The aerosol spray knocks the insects out of the air, killing them on the spot. Because prallethrin remains active after an application, it continues to kill other members as they return to the nest.

Where to Use Wasp-Free II Insecticide

Use Wasp-Free II Insecticide aerosol to target various stinging insect pests in outdoor areas. Although it can be used indoors, it should only be sprayed in crawlspaces and attics, not living areas. Use it to knock down wasps and other stinging insects around garages, backyard patios, commercial entryways and other places where the pests hover or build nests.

Note: Stinging insects are less active at night, so apply the spray after sunset as an added precaution when treating the insects with Wasp-Free II. Wasp Freeze II Insecticide Aerosol has replaced Wasp Freeze Insecticide. Wasp Freeze contained the active ingredient D-Trans Allethrin and Phenothrin as the primary active ingredients while Wasp Freeze II contains 0.1% Prallerthrin. Wasp Freeze II can be used outdoors, and in attics and crawlspaces.
