How Tandem Insecticide Works

Tandem contains two key ingredients: thiamethoxam and lambda-cyhalothrin. Together, they treat numerous crawling and flying insect pests indoors and outdoors. Lambda-cyhalothrin is a pyrethroid, which targets the central nervous system. It works on contact and causes paralysis and death. Thiamethoxam is a systemic neonicotinoid, which moves through a plant and kills destructive pests like aphids and whiteflies. Because of these two ingredients, Tandem insecticide provides quick knockdown and residual activity to kill nuisance pests.

Where to Use Tandem Insecticide

Use Tandem in and around buildings and transport vehicles. It's useful as a spot, a perimeter and a crack-and-crevice treatment. Tandem's liquid formulation makes it easy to mix in a tank and to apply in numerous sites such as homes, offices and warehouses. Some of the most common target areas for use include:

Target Pests

Tandem controls more than 90 different crawling and flying insect species. It targets ants, beetles and roaches on the ground and mosquitoes, cluster flies and wasps in the air. It also effectively kills pantry pests such as flour beetles and rice weevils. This insecticide also controls occasional invaders, including:
