How Precor IGR Concentrate Insecticide Works

Precor IGR Concentrate Insecticide contains methoprene, a chemical that's used in many different larvicides. It affects fleas at the larval stage and prevents them from reaching the pupal stage. The fleas die because they can no longer mature and reach adulthood. Precor isn't an adulticide and shouldn't be used to treat adult fleas. However, it can be combined with other insecticides to kill and to control fleas at all life stages.

Where to Use Precor IGR Concentrate

Use Precor IGR Concentrate Insecticide indoors to keep fleas from maturing into blood-sucking adults. It can be used in homes and businesses where fleas have infested the interior. Apply it as a spray to target areas such as:

• Carpets
• Cat and dog bedding
• Upholstered furniture
• Throw rugs
