Advance 375A select granular ant bait Insecticide contains abamectin, a chemical that disrupts an ant's nervous system. The worker ants take the granular ant bait back to the colony where it's distributed to other members. The queen ant dies once the bait reaches her, bringing the reproduction cycle to an end. The workers also die after carrying the bait, as well as any other ants that have come into contact with the granules.
Use Advance 375A select granular ant bait insecticide indoors and outdoors to control ant infestations on lawns or inside homes and businesses. The bait can be applied by itself or with bait stations and sweet gels. Apply the bait around the perimeters of homes and businesses, including areas where anthills or other ant nests are found. It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. Do not apply this product in a way that will contact workers or other persons, either directly or through drift. Only protected handlers may be in the area during application.
