Treat wood-boring insects like termites and carpenter ants with Bifen XTS insecticide. This oil-based insecticide has a water-resistant formula, so it doesn't wash away in the rain after application. It also contains bifenthrin, a synthetic pyrethroid that effects an insect's nervous system, first causing paralysis and then death. Though Bifen XTS works on wood-damaging insects, it also controls many different pest insects such as mites and ticks. For controlling and preventing infestations on residential and commercial property, look to Bifen XTS insecticid

Description

How Bifen XTS Insecticide Works

Bifen XTS Insecticide for Termites gets its name from the active ingredient bifenthrin. This synthetic chemical emulates a naturally occurring substance known as pyrethrin found in chrysanthemums, which works to protect the flowers in the wild. Bifenthrin doesn't immediately knock down the insects. Rather, it works gradually upon contact or ingestion and allows social insects to spread it throughout the colony. Because it doesn't repel the insects, pests like termites and ants come into contact with the ingredient unknowingly and die over time as a result.

Where to Use Bifen XTS Insecticide

Use Bifen XTS Insecticide in both residential and commercial areas where insects enter buildings or breed. With its water-resistant formula, Bifen XTS stays where you apply it for months, providing total control against invasive insects such as carpenter ants and carpenter bees. It also works to keep out spiders in barns and utility sheds. Other application sites for use include areas near or around:

  • Foundations
  • Patios
  • Lawns
  • Building perimeters
  • Apartments
  • Fence rows
