|Used For||This product can take 4 to 7 days to see results, however, you should only apply this product if the soil temperature is about 65 degrees, it is not going to rain within 8 hours, and the fire ants are foraging. It is recommended to broadcast the treatment instead of mound treat for best results, and you should apply the product where the ground is in the sun, since this is where fire ants will nest. You can use this product on pastureland. It may be applied to grass forage (pasture and rangeland) for the control of fire ants only in the following states - Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia.|
Extinguish Plus fire ant bait insecticide contains both hydramethylnon and S-methoprene as the active ingredients. Hydramethylnon is used in most bait granulars and gels as an effective chemical for interrupting an ant's metabolic system. It affects the ant's ability to perform important functions such as feeding while making it lethargic and immobile. S-methoprene is an insect growth regulator that sterilizes the queen ant and prevents the colony from rebounding after treatment.
Use Extinguish Plus Fire Ant Bait Insecticide as a powerful option to kill unwanted fire ants on residential lawns and commercial property. It's approved for both indoor and outdoor use and provides long-lasting control thanks to its combined ingredients. With two main ingredients, Extinguish Plus not only targets and kills ants but also prevents rebound and further infestations. It knocks out the workers and sterilizes the queen, destroying the colony from within. It takes between 24 and 72 hours to see results and continues to work long after an application.
It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. Do not apply this product in a way that will contact workers or other persons, either directly or through drift. Only protected handlers may be in the area during application.
