How Niban Bait Insecticide Works

Niban Fine Granular Bait contains 5 percent boric acid as the active ingredient. It works by disrupting the insect's nervous system. It also includes food-grade attractants, which lure ants and other pests out of hiding. They take the bait and start to feel the effects within hours. As the ingredient starts to work, it causes the insects to become motionless until they die.

Where to Use Niban Insecticide

Niban comes in an easy-to-use shaker jug with a comfort grip for greater control during application. Use it indoors and outdoors to target pests like ants and crickets. It's weather resistant and can be applied around garages, barns and the perimeter of other buildings. Use it indoors to tackle cockroach infestations and to control ants before they get out of hand. Some common places to use Niban bait include:

  • Crawl spaces
  • Pantries
  • Bathrooms
  • Laundry rooms
  • Garbage areas

Target Pests

Niban granular insect bait provides broad-spectrum control of many different insects. It tackles infestations with 5 percent boric acid and handles several species within an insect order, such as camel, house and mole crickets. It's effective against ants of all types, from Argentine and carpenter to pavement and odorous house ants. Use it to kill and control roaches of every species, such as American, German, smokey brown and brown banded. It even kills and prevents silverfish and earwigs.
