How Vanquish Herbicide Works

With 56 percent dicamba as the main ingredient, Vanquish Herbicide provides successful weed control of more than 200 broadleaf weeds, brush and vines. Once you apply the product to the target area, the weeds absorb the active ingredient and translocate it throughout their system. The dicamba starts to work and collapse the weed, causing death and helping desirable plants to grow without competing for nutrients.

Where to Use Vanquish Herbicide Weed Killer

Vanquish Herbicide has a wide range of application uses and controls weeds on established turfgrasses and lawns. It helps to keep golf course greens, fairways and tees free of invasive weeds and controls excessive growth on roadsides and rights of way. You can also target weeds and brush along nonirrigation ditches, fence rows and railroads. Other areas for use include:

  • Recreational areas
  • Campgrounds
  • Wildlife openings and habitats
  • Forestry sites
  • Parking and storage areas
  • Pipelines and tank farms
