Precor IGR Concentrate Insecticide contains methoprene, a chemical that's used in many different larvicides. It affects fleas at the larval stage and prevents them from reaching the pupal stage. The fleas die because they can no longer mature and reach adulthood. Precor isn't an adulticide and shouldn't be used to treat adult fleas. However, it can be combined with other insecticides to kill and to control fleas at all life stages.
Use Precor IGR Concentrate Insecticide indoors to keep fleas from maturing into blood-sucking adults. It can be used in homes and businesses where fleas have infested the interior. Apply it as a spray to target areas such as:
Precor IGR Concentrate Insecticide only works on fleas, not on ticks or other parasitic insects. It works on flea larvae, halting their life stage and killing them before they have a chance to mature. This effective concentrate continues to target flea larvae for up to seven months.
Stop fleas before they have a chance to infest interior spaces with Precor IGR Concentrate Insecticide. It's safe to use around pets when it's dry, keeping the fleas out of bedding areas and other places where pets sleep, eat and play. It controls these pest insects in carpeting and on furniture and keeps on working for seven months after one application. Precor mixes easily in the tank with other insecticides and treats interior spaces where fleas cause problems for both people and pets.
It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. Do not apply this product in a way that will contact workers or other persons, either directly or through drift. Only protected handlers may be in the area during application.
